This linocut captures the atmosphere of Rázusovo Embankment in Bratislava. The lively road running through the scene reflects the city’s constant movement. On the left, the Slovak National Gallery stands as a cultural landmark. In the background, the unfinished silhouette of Bratislava’s very first skyscraper rises, contrasting with the historic core and symbolizing the city’s transformation into a modern metropolis.
Each print is original and hand-printed. A special oil paint is applied to the rubber roller. The paint is applied to the lino with an engraved image with a roller. After placing the paper on the lino, the image is transferred to the paper by pressure.
